"sova" means "sleep" in Swedish. Sage is anonym for "wisdom".

Why we created sovaSage

In a phrase, “it was time!” Real innovation is born from unmet needs and revolutionary innovation enabled by new technology. That is true for sovaSage. The treatment of obstructive sleep apnea has not changed appreciably for 30 years. With the accelerating advancement of machine learning and artificial intelligence technologies, and some innovative computer vision techniques, we were able to create a platform that will be the first significant innovation in this industry since 1990. We aim to change the treatment of sleep apnea forever and for the benefit of patients and providers alike.
